Well that was without doubt the most exciting game so far.
Absolutely fantastic game of football.. Both teams going for the jugular.
Total end to end stuff with no let up.

Some great goals in there & some great stops too. You just never knew which way it would go.

I thought Caroline had a brilliant game, using his height & strength to batter forward & just as strong in defense.

I'm breathless just watching it. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of that.

That team had what so many other England teams hadn't and that was Heart and Spirit which counted in the second half.

Oh Billy, your easily pleased. I thought it was a mediocre game, only made interesting by the ineptitude of England, we will give nobody sleepless nights defending like that (other than ourselves) we really won't. Torres, let alone Spain must be licking their lips - lambs to the slaughter.

I'm not just talking about England.

I mean the game as a whole spectical.

I can imagine many, many neutrals watching around the world who would have enjoyed that just as I did.

    Top notch as a game.

That's how football should be played.

Spain v Italy was ****e for me. I'm not saying England will win & quite frankly dinnet give a ****. I'm British, always will be.

But that game just had me on the edge of my seat the entire match, never knowing which way it would go, end to end.

If you have seen a more exciting game this tournament then name it.

Spain can think what the **** they like & I'm not lending the cadging ****ers so much as a happeny.

They can suck my plums. <ok>

Gerrin Billie Lad. You cannot beat Andy Pandy heeding it doon and Lenny Henry flickin it in. 1966 all over again. B ring on Spain or Italy we'll sink them not bail them out.

    I thought it was great.

"Glen Johnson has been our best defender" I heard ML say in commentary, yeah maybe but only after gifting Sweden their first goal.

He stayed in there and played Mellberg on, everyone else rushed out when the ball hit the wall from the freekick, if he had, Mellberg would have been offside by a country mile, then he went back to try to stop the shot on the line, but Hart saved it, and he got in the way, it went off him into the net.

1st goal was def his fault 100%, give him credit though he never shirked and he did play quite well after that.

For me we are desperate for a real right back and a pacey centre half. No to Milner. Crap. No to Johnson, crap. Sought out the right and we could perhaps do something. O.K Gerrard and Parker are not ripping up trees but they are defending well. Had we picked Richards.....We could have won this on the fact we had a great defence.

It was nuts here, we had a full house in the venue, with the game on a massive screen, I was ****ting it because the reception was ****e before the game but it held up. The whole place went mental when we scored.

Its funny my boss said he would be surprised if we got 100 people in and would not let me do it for the world cup 2 years ago. A record bar take later and I think its a good time to ask for a pay rise ;)

**** thing is I can't do it Tuesday because we have got a band on.

I agree Billy, game was a cracker.

**** our weaknesses, we won, battled and showed great character, again.

LIV, we had a full house, and a full terrace, we lost sound for nearly 20 mins though, so I had to pick up a mike for the first time in 10 years.

    Not cool ;)

i thought it was a good game but i thought england are poor in all honesty. there didnt seem to be any pace, skill or penetartion. i think parker is **** and cant pass at all, i also feel we gave the ball away too much and invited the swedes to have a go. a good result overall but definatly room for improvement

We came into the tournament with little expectation, take 4 points from the first 2 games, so why focus on the negatives??

We now have Rooney, head & shoulders our best player back available, and we have seen in 2 games a bit of fight & spirit not witnessed in an England squad in 10 years.

Reasons to be cheerful lads, 2 soft goals, who gives a ****, we won, and we fought back from behind in the second half.

That'll do for me, onto the quarters!

(Scott Parker really is dog ****e mind...)

At least you didn't have to put up with Lawro wittering on in his little squeaky voice.

He sounds like a ****ing piglet.
