Yep and you can stay in the Algrave and wreck another country. I live in London which thankfully is its own country now
It got stuffed 4-1 two years ago and nothing much has changed.OK,the FA have started to implement the rules and regulations regarding kids football with the introduction of smaller pitches and encouraging the kids to keep hold of the ball for longer in order to become more technical etc but I can't see it improving the fortunes of the English national team in any time soon even though it's not a short term project but a long term one it hasn't shaken things up like it should have seeing as we got owned by Germany two years ago,the FA and Premier League should of put in a cap of the number of foreign players to about 4 and made it mandatory for clubs in England to have about 6-7 English players in the starting XI within the next 5-10 years the clubs who don't oblige to the rules would be relegated by the FA and given harsh penalties. The Problem with the English culture is that nothing is ever wrong when in reality so much is wrong...'Stiff upper lip'
I'm only live in the Algarve because my parents live here otherwise I'd happily live in England, and my parents didn't choose to live here either btw.
The great thing is ... it's only a football match ... afterwards its forgotten and as I have learnt from the French ... life is to be enjoyed ... England will either being moaning and crying over split milk then turn on their own team ... or if they win they will have a spend up on their credit cards ... get in there son, have it, i'm loving it, .... whats the betting raymondo? ARE YOU GETTING ME ? ... OH MY GOD .... ENGAAAAA LAND
I have a cousin who has been almost 30 years in sweden. I have two friends who have lived biggest part of their life in sweden and my wifes cousin who has lived now about 25 years in norway. None of those peoples havent even thought about convertation as sport wise. They would never support sweden or norway before finland. Not possible even if the sweden and norway are lot better in football comparing to finland. Just cant get it DT afterall you are british arent you? Shame on you. Too much frogs legs, brie and red wine have make you like that.
Football is part of life. And as Shankly said ''Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that"
Igor I am simple man who has been lucky to live in France and have become very happy due to that fact. Its not a hard sum my friend. I grew up looking at FRance from my bedroom window on the South Coast and went exploring ... I love it ... For those you have not gone to Corsica ... Go
That my friend is exactly where you are going wrong ... Football is a game and my passion for it runs as wild as anyone's ... the secret is to control that passion
a bit bloody strong dear boy, don't you realise that we have had our (bulldog) mentality for to long now and must look to why certain teams(germany, italy, holland, france)always are there or there abouts in this and the world cup, its not being a turn coat its being a patriot, don't look to the past and keep making the same mistakes and blaming everything but ourselves, "adapt" take on other peoples idea's use them, they have with us and moved onto better things themselves.
Banana, you're not all there mate. Maybe its too much time in that Algarve Sun? Anyway, enjoy the game. Should be a good one.
Yeah I know that,I was just quoting a famous old phrase from Shanks. Football is a pretty important part of life but there are better and more important things than football but many though.
Superb OP Northolt!! I knew Swords wouldn't like it though....he's Mr Politically Correct from Politically Correct Town!! Come on England!!!!
Is it me or is every thread on here destined to be either xenophobic or borderline surreal? Who is this Bananabloke? Is he another Norwichite???? Results are in on the Cheese-Off, England 3 - France 3 (England win on pens, the Cornish Yarg was too strong for the Camambert in the end) I think we'll go out to the Italians in the QF's, theres no way our Red Leicester will turn over the Dolcelatte
