Col v DT, just about to get on a plane, it'll all be over when I get off. 0-0, draw suits both teams.

This "lack of expectation" thing is strange, I have to admit. It makes me realise what it must be like to be Scottish..... :)

My plans are to catch the first half on 5Live in the car, and hopefully be home in time for the 2nd half.

A lot of the first games have been a little pedestrian, teams scared of losing the first game. If we hit them fast out of the blocks, i think we stand a good chance back 5 are pretty sound (kiss of death), though I'm a little worried that we will get swamped in the Middle we go 4-4-2.

I'd take a 10-0 defeat just to see that happen!

By the way wasn't that a cool celebration by mariner in that '82 england-france clip? England win 1-0 tonight because nobody expect nothing from them . Not in england and certainly not in finland too. One certain football pundit here in finland promised, that if england win euro 2012 he would shave his hair and then paint it with tar.....! Oh yes and defoe will score the solitare goal.

I'm trying to get into the mood. Just back from Tesco's with a selection of fine cheese, English & French. Having a 'Cheese-Off' now in the office to see which countries is best. Stilton has just pipped the chevre but I fear for Cheddar against the mighty Roquefort.....Come On England!!

Sod Terry getting sent off, a serious injury would do me. Nothing life threatening, just a double ruptured testicle would be fine.

ST GEORGE ... the funny thing is that England worship a saint that by all accounts was originally Roman ... You may all be shocked to know that Santa Claus was developed by Coca Cola.

But I have to agree that I prefer a bit of Cornish Cruncher to some of the French cheeses like that rough gear they have up North : Pont-l'Évêque

There are Cheddars and there are Cheddars and then there's Crackerbarrel ... English Pigs you all smell of milk .... Les Bleus 2 The Proud Arrogant Blind Fools 0
