big question. Do we want to lose and get an easier run?

No idea how many he will play and who he will rest.

Come on England and err get beat...

You don’t change your back three or keeper.

    You don’t drop your Skipper.

You may look at changing some players in the more industrious positions.

    With that in mind

    Pickford

    Armstrong Walker Stones Maguire Rose

    Dier

    Loftus Lingard Rashford

    Kane

Give Dele a 30 minutes run out 2nd half, ease him back in.

    3 nowt. Job done.

I think Loftus and Walker are the only 2 on yellow cards so should we rest them to make sure they are available for the last 16

This game will be hilarious I reckon

2 reserve teams - neither wanting to look like they are trying to lose - so I’m going 0-0 with about 12 yellow cards - if we can get a player sent off we should secure the best draw

    He'll play 11. I'm pretty confident he'll play 11.

Win or lose, it doesn't matter. You're in it to win it, not to go as far as you can.

I really believe we have a chance this time. We're going to win the World Cup.

    There, I've said it.

No such thing as an easier run, we play to win and to bring it home, come on England.

Think playing for a draw is possible. Not sure how a team can go a play to lose without looking obvious. Sod it play to win. This squad is going to deliver but prob not for a couple of years. Hope I'm wrong and Brazil ain't that great anyway.

He'll play to win and rightly so.

Two or three changes maybe, but they shouldn't make us much weaker.

We should just play with freedom that whatever result is fine, but I am with Southgate who intends to keep the winning run because it keeps the the good habits onwards in England's young team.

They can make all the right noises about momentum , bring on whoever etc , but a defeat would give an unbelievable chance of the semi finals , the likes of The French and The Spanish would be thinking that . It's almost typical England that we could win a group with 9 points and it feel like a punishment <laugh>

You lot know we don't have to lose to come second, right?

If we draw and get 2 more yellow cards than them (or a red), we'll go second.

Despite that, I still want us to win... but I also want us to have Sweden/Switzerland in the quarters should we get there... **** I CAN'T CHOOSE

    It's a free hit.

Play to win, if we do the confidence is up. If we lose, console ourselves with the idea of an easier draw.
