Really looking forward to today's match against the Aussies. There's been plenty of needle in the build-up and both sides will be well up for it. Added spice of England going for a record breaking clean sweep of 14 wins this year...

Aussies played well against Wales in the first half, since then lacklustre. England seem to be building a powerhouse, and despite the injury list replacements are stepping up nad fitting in to Jones' gameplan.

On paper a straightforward, if bruising, England win. But it's never that simple against the Wallabies.

Aussies just shade the first half 16-13, England battled back well from 10-0 down and with a stronger bench could just have the edge in the second half...

England make strong start to 2nd half with two converted tries, Farrell kicking with metronome accuracy, 27-16...

A complete turnaround in the second half. England were a bit fortunate to go in only three points down, but have blown Australia away this half.

First 15 mins of 2nd half England put the hammer down and the Aussies couldn't live with it. There's that air of confidence about this side that the 2003 side had prior to winning the World Cup, we're a long way away from it but going in the right direction...

They play more entertaining rugby than the 2003 side, and there's as much, if not more talent in the squad. Just need a leviathan of a leader like Johnson to emerge. No chance of finding another machine like Wilkinson, but he was a freak.

What a fantastic year for the England rugby team. It's just a shame New Zealand wasn't among the thirteen.
