    Gents,

Our season is effectively over, we ain't going up and we ain't going down. McGhee has done the job he was employed to do and we are now a solid unit, difficult to beat - something that couldn't be said about Buckle's Rovers.

However, in order to compete for promotion next season I think that we need a little more firepower up front and creativity from midfield.

Therefore, who do you think should stay with the club - including our current loanees?

I'd like to see Poke return, Downes, Bolger, Woodards, Parkes, Sawyer, Smith (maybe), Paterson, L Brown, Gill, Lund, W Brown, Muzzy, Harrold, Richard, Zebroski (I think).

To go - Virgo, Stanley, Dorman, Norburn, Anyinsah

    Your thoughts?

    I think Norburn's gone back.
I'm changing my mind about Smith..but don't want him at FB.
Sad about Anyinsah...something's not right there.
Sawyer might go if he's a high earner.
Otherwise much the same as you Bb.
(You don't mention Bevan or Cronin. I can't see a future here for Cronin, and if
we keep Bevan I'd prefer Poke as first choice).

Should free up some money for new signings next season to complete the jigsaw. Anyinsah will free up some cash, so will Anthony. Sawyer will probably go and a couple others may too. We need a good, out and out striker to score us the goals we lack. Everything else is generally alright at the moment. Brown and Virgo should be back to add to the squad (wasn't Virgo a striker under MM before?? - Could be our answer <laugh>)

McG has inherited what at first appeared to be a pile of ****e from Buckle but somehow turned it around making us a solid hard to beat unit. When he gets to do some dealing close season just imagine what he can do with a team he builds himself. <cool>

I'm not at all bothered who he shifts out or gets in, I have total trust in the big man to turn us into a promotion chasing side<ok>

Agree with most of it but will we get Bolger, Parkes and the rest of the loanees back again, hopefully Bolger and Parks will stay on season loan deals, the other loan players I'm not fussed about take em or leave em, Bevan seems to be improving alot lately so no need for Poke to come back IMO, I think Virgo should be given more of a chance after all he hasn't played since October,

More mouths would surely mean he would be fatter? <laugh>
Try him upfront, where MM had him during his Brighton spell I believe? Might be worth a go. At least if he is slow and **** it wont affect our chances of a clean sheet too much <ok>
