    This end of season feel
    Has a certain appeal,
    Although it´s new
    To the last two
    Year´s hectic final reel

    No clammy, sweaty palms
    Knowing there is no harm,
    That can be done
    If games aren´t won
    All is sedate and calm

But with not much at stake
    And soon, a summer break,
    To come our way
    Perhaps our play
    Just needs a gentle shake

    But rather it be so
    Than still not really know,
    If our league place
    Is here to grace
For two years in a row

    Tomorrow, Liverpool
Who´re still, to this old fool,
    One of the best
    Scalps to contest
To beat them would be cool

And that would round off well
    What´s been a premier spell,
    In this top tier
    With much to cheer
As we approach the bell. OTBC

Hi RBF, I hate not having footie for a few weeks, fortunately it's an even year which means either World Cup or Euros, which at least gives us something to watch, even if it's not England for very long!

You're right about Liverpool! The day we start to EXPECT to beat them is still a way off I fear, though they have been unpredictable of late, so I will hope! <ok>

Sorry Dave, can´t get excited about the Euro´s, may have a little peep at the Olympic Games though, probably the athletics.

I am with you RBF - Euro's do nothing for me and even worse Olympic Football - why?
Also remove tennis as they have grand slams and anything that involves professionals. Olympics is for amateurs, good amateurs obviously.

Remove basketball, America have obvious advantage. Not many countries play it at any decent level.

Swansea can still get relegated in theory, so on that basis so could Norwich. It would be a shame to lose you at such a late stage of the season, having got so far.

:) Technically you´re right of course, but I´d be quite happy to take a bet with you, that neither Wigan or QPR will pick up maximum points from their last 3 games, which is what they´ll need to do just to draw level with us. I think we´ll both be seeing each other up here again next year.<ok>
