Thought i'd bump this, because i've thought of something. In a matter of weeks we've gone from being on the brink of signing Higuian, to now probably facing him at the Emirates cup when he's playing for Napoli. ouch.
Come on, we have Wenger in charge for how many years now. You must realize that his absolute best signing is still going to have some flaw that needs to be sorted out. He just isn't going to be the straightforward signing that everyone agrees is good. I never thought we could get Higuain or Suarez, just can't see them going for a price where we would feel they were value for money. No harm in trying, but not a high chance of it coming off. He is going to sign about 6 players and none of them will be "Sure things". A couple will flop and one or two will be worth 40M by the end of the year. That is just the way he does it. You guys hate it, others love it, but we all have to live with it, at least we can agree that it keeps forums like this interesting.
Not really bothered who wins, just there for a day out with a few mates, some beers and football. I went to the Emirates before for a youth game against 'Pool and the Arsenal mates I'm going with have both been to WHL with me before for friendlies and youth games. The general concensus seems to be that you give a bit of a half hearted cheer when Spurs/Arsenal score just to fit in
Just what I was going to say. Yid Vicious is a closet Gooner That would explain all that pent up faux rage he's harboured on here. Cast off your shackles Yid, for the Church of Arsenal is a broad and forgiving brotherhood. Repent your sins (supporting spurs) and you will be saved
