I'm not going to get in a slanging match nor am I going to hurl bad language around, I've sworn to myself not to get wound up by others any more. That said I came close to lowering myself to their level again in the condolence thread, I felt ashamed by some of my fellow countrymen, some I didn't expect any better from, I can't believe that anyone would take advantage of this kind of thread to get a dig in, I suggest you go back and read your posts then ask yourself if you would be happy about them appearing on a thread dedicated to your Father, Mother, Brother, Sister etc. Hopefully you'll grow some balls and go back to delete them.
Well said this is what I tried to get at when asking everyone who had said that little too much too just edit the post to a RIP in the originals place. Heck I even did it with the posts I had originally put on asking people to do this. It’s not the time or place R.I.P and leave it there unless you have more to say in honour of Mike. I hope that everyone has been big enough to do this or delete as you suggest.
That's what I posted, because it was what I felt at the time, and what I still think now, but as the OP rightly says, not a thread for arguing or points scoring, if anyone thinks it's over the top or finds it offensive, then I apologise and will willingly delete it and replace it with a simple RIP
With a few of the posts being a bit over the top maybe a book of condolance could have been better where only your name and the team you support shown. EG.. David Jones Cardiff City
