Can we officially sign players straight away or do you think the FA/FL will make us wait till the end of August or even before the first game (well its not that long!) before confirming them?

I only ask as I understand other teams have had to do this in the past...got players agreeing to deals but not actually allowed to play them until they got the say so.

The club stated that we can sign players, but the paperwork has to be approved by the FA before hand. I think that it is to make certain that we are not entering into any third party finance agreement. There was no time frame mentioned, but the impression given was that we did not have to wait. It was also said that if the dispute with the company that lent money to Baz was resolved then the embargo could be lifted. Once again nothing has been said, but I suspect that the club feel that Baz should repay the money, so it could well be ongoing.
