It is mate, the patron saint of England was born in Turky to a Turkish father but is really Pallistinian.
Now when i shout the rallying call i will have to shout "for England, Harry and some saint or other".

Palestine didn't exist, its never existed and never will. <whistle>

But other than that, yeah I know.

Btw unlike some I don't have a problem with our flag.

However, I do have a problem with vandals though, which some of the painting is, I can ignore the odd roundabout, but when someone lets the plebs out, It's a step too far.

Tbph there ain't much attractive about the English flag, it needs more rainbow colours.

Ffs, the worst two human violaters in the world, I wouldn't trust a word they say.

People can recognise all they like and history can be whatever you want it to be, and most of that is historical propaganda to say we are the good guys, omitting any inhumane acts they have committed and distancing themselves from the bad guys...just get on the frontline, give your life and don't argue.

According to history Lawrence of Arabia and his Arab allies liberated Palestine from the Turkish Ottoman Empire

It was only after the end of WW1 when Britain and her allies drew lines the sand to create counties after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire that there was not an independent country actually called Palestine and was after the creation of Israel after WW11 that the people who called themselves Palestinians wanted an independent country called Palestine, before that the Jews and Muslims lived in harmony

I may not be 100% accurate with this but it is how I remember it

Palestine is as old as the hills. Going back to biblical times the whole area was Palestine made up of Judea, Samaria, Galilee. Jesus himself was a Palestinian, born in Bethlehem which is now in the West Bank.

The whole area is a melting pot of different cultures and religions, you can go back as far as the Canaanites for various peoples to have ‘laid claim’ to the region. But the reality is that along with the Israelites, there are many different ethic groups who all have historical ties to the land.

Like you say, it’s only since the end of the Ottoman Empire, that the land of Palestine hasn’t been given the modern borders of statehood as it was a territory under British rule during our empire days. When we carved it up and created Israel, it was never envisoned that the state of Israel would forcibly take so much land from Palestine.

To the point now where we have religious nutters running a nuclear armed government who are actively trying to destroy the remnants of what’s left of Palestine.

Also given that both Jesus and St George were Palestinian, shouldn’t patriotic British Christians be championing the cause and painting Palestinian flags on roundabouts <whistle>

Anyone displaying flags of any kind, outside of football tournaments, is probably a bit touched imo.
