Yeah but unusual for the Poles, I've forgotten what it was over, but even their normally very pro europe guy was speaking out, that's why it caught my attention. Think it might have been over borders, probably.

Most people vote with their mind on the money in their pocket, covid kicked the **** out of the economy and caused high inflation, they may have done far better than everyone else, but everything still costs more than it did. They don't care about the causes, just the symptom.
That said, I wouldn't put it past the republicans to steal the election, they good try last time and always seem to commit the crimes they accuse the democrats of.

Probably because food, fuel and interest rates are all sky high. Unfortunately the existing administration will take the blame for it even if its not their fault. People in poverty don't know any better and just see these things cost a lot more so want a change as they are struggling. They then see billions being given to ukraine (probably in old weapons) but people just see a bottom line number.

That plus shes black and a woman so theres goes your male vote and the racists.

They lose the muslim vote because they are pro israel.

I noticed how much more expensive food and fuel was when I was out there recently, but like you say, inflation has hit just about every country. The US economy on paper was actually doing quite well compared to other western nations, but yep, people vote on what hits their pocket in the immediate scenario.

Ukraine matters, because Trump will make them surrender huge swathes of their country to Russia and it will embolden Putin to take more. I think that sends a message to China that they can do likewise with Taiwan and that puts the whole Asia-Pacific region on edge, especially with Kim Jong and Putin cozying up together.

Losing the Muslim vote because Biden was pro-Israel and voting for Trump as a result is ****ing bonkers, coz he will just hand Netanyahu exactly what he wants. Last time he was in he pushed the Abraham accords without the key two state solution for Palestine, and with them having no backing in the Arab world, the only people they could turn to was Hamas backed by Iran.

Economies doing well on paper mean **** all when the benefits are hoarded by the fortunate few who have assets and investments, while the rest of the population can’t pay their bills and can’t buy a house. Home ownership used to be affordable in the States, but now it’s not.

Trouble is mate, most people don't get up in the morning thinking about Israel or Ukraine, but you put the price of food up or fuel, heating, then that is what people will vote on, as Ern and Bobby have said the pound in your pocket or dollar in the american case. I think it showed in the American polls that the economy was the biggest concern, I doubt there are many americans that give a shhite about Ukraine. Canada might do because I think they import a lot of their wheat. I doubt if your average american even cares who Kim Jong is. Seeing SKY in meltdown today has really opened my eyes to some of the bias in the media, you will believe what we tell you, because all those americans that voted for Trump are wrong. I've never ever taken any notice of things being so called woke, well maybe that's the problem american males aint woke enough.

Yeah I agree. And when you watch the news in the US it’s all about what’s happening there. International coverage is given a 30 second slot for each story and that’s about it.

In some respects I kind of get it. It’s such a big country with a lot of things going on. But it does mean that unless Americans actively seek out international news, they won’t be getting much of it.

Maybe one good thing could come from this election.
Maybe, finally, but I doubt it, Hollywood will learn to shut the **** up and not get involved.
Sick of this democrat tactic or courting celebrity endorsements all the time.
"Well I was gonna vote Republican or not vote, but Will Ferrell and Jennifer Lopez convinced me otherwise!"
    What absolute BS.
Why do they think that a bunch of entitled, privileged multi millionaires wagging their finger at the poor, unwashed masses telling them how evil they are for not voting how they want, is a good tactic.
This is the same Hollywood that produced and protected folks like Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein and P Diddy.
Bunch of rich degenerates shoving coke up their noses while they sexually assault and traffick children, trying to take the moral high ground, makes me sick.
Yeah not all of them are involved or complicit in that ****, but you trying to tell me Beyonce, Jay Z and J Lo werent aware what their boy Diddy was up to?
And 90% of Hollywood was aware of old Harvey and his casting couch, but none of them did a damn thing about it. Where were their morals then?

What an unlikely set of people to be grouped together.
Not at all surprised about Hulk supporting Trump, they been best buddies since the 80's when Trump used to get involved in WWF, and they are both narcissistic as ****.

I'm surprised there hasn't been an abuse scandal that has surfaced from WWF. Those guys in the 80's and 90's were pumped full of roids and coke.

There are leading politicians in Europe who are considerably more vitriolic and racist than Donald Trump and they've been active in politics at the highest level since the early 90s.

Think people focus too much on the US, perhaps cos they speak English everyone reckons they can have say or something.

Saw stuff from the Netherlands freaking out about it, conveniently ignore that the Netherlands elected Gert Wilders, who is far, far worse than Donald Trump. Hypocrites.

Or that Farage is a popular bloke here, for instance.

Trump politics is a European export. It was born here.
