No, not you mate. I mean the actual Esteban Granero.

Does anyone know the stat on how many times he's been tackled/dispossessed? I swear he must have the best stats for that as I remember him rarely being tackled. It's almost impossible to do so. It's great to see a player like that, who covers the ball so well and keeps it away from a defender. It brings confidence into the team (and stadium!)

Adel has been amazing at this lately, too.

And I must add that Granero has lived up to his nickname as he's been nicking the ball off opposition too.

Sure got me there. I'll get you the exact stats in a minute but you must understand Granero did loose a lot of balls in his firts 3 or 4 games.

Understandable as he is still relatively new to the Prem. I think QPR have got one of the best buys of this decade on their hands. He is quality.

remember Bartons set pieces and compare them to Granero's to realise the huge difference in quality
all we need now is someone to get on the end of them

    Ok here we go now.

    Vs Team_______Dispossessed__Pass Accuracy_____Tackles

    Man City_______3____________85 %_____________4

    Chelsea________3____________75 %_____________4

    Tottenham_____4____________87 %_____________3

    West Ham______5____________78 %_____________1

    WBA___________2____________93 %_____________2

    Everton________2____________89 %______________2

    Arsenal_________3____________78 %_____________0

Our most dispossessed player and our most fouled player. Only Nelsen had more ball interceptions than him and only Park has more successful tackles than him.
Here you have it, maybe too much statistics

This really bothers me. Why our players don't get on the end of crosses. Ever ! During set piece Nelsen always seem to be near the ball but nothing really happens.

That one is simple. They only aim for Zamora. Statto. Please confirm that he never wins one unless he skies it. Distributes reasonably well with his feet and harasses the oppostion defenders but winning it in the air and nodding/flicking/laying off for one of ours? Last time I saw that was when Iceman was playing but then Hughes like most football managers is biased towards players who have played for him previously.

It seems he scored only 9 headers in the Prem League with all of his teams.

Thanks for those stats! He obviously plays in a dangerous position where he's at risk of being hassled bye defenders and midfielders but the ball sticks to him like glue and we've all seen it no matter what the stats say.

And I still feel we could squeeze out some goals and assists out of him if he plays closer to the goal.

Mate, the bloke oozes pure class..even steie wonder can see that

When Tarbs plays alongside him, they are light years ahead of those around them......

If only the rest of the team could keep up...Granero, Tarbs & Ali ould terrify any team...no exceptions !

The G man s my player of the season so far, closely followed by ceasar then T-man...

It all makes TFs excuse look stupid, "players need to adjust to the PL" is complete bollocks. Granero has go stuck in, hasnt dived and has never complained about a hard tackle (oo er misses)
