I know when we chose what image to use for the banner it looked a darn site better than what is actually shown on the site today. Was the original image 1800 pixels wide or was it stretched to fit? I think the original need to be more than 1800 pixels and then reduced to fit to keep the sharpness of the image. To me it looks pretty awful and out of focus
...still out of focus, I think your old eyes are deceiving you Dave, either that or you have been on the malt already
The "Carrow Road" street sign is perfect, it's everything behind it where it looks like something has gone wrong, very 'pixilated' in places (making it look out of focus). Can anyone else see what I am trying to say??
Thai, it doesn't look out of focus to me, but if anyone else see's a problem, let me know! The image was already 1800 pixels, that's why it took extra time to put up, the original that was posted on here by Harry, automatically down-sized to fit the page and wasn't able to be re-sized! A full-size version was then emailed to Mick, this is the result, it looks perfect to me!
If you tell me how to prepare a screen shot for emailing! I'm not au fait with technology as you may remember from your efforts of teaching me to post an image!
I was waiting for a reply to that effect On your keyboard, to the right of the F12 button, there should be another button saying "prt scrn" (Print Screen) Hit that button! Now open you Windows 'Paint' application, or whatever you use and paste the screen shot on to a blank paint sheet. Save it and send to me, easy
Hi bors, using IE, it shows old banner. In Google it shows internal view of Carrow Road. Looks ok to me. Still prefer IE but then am used to using that for donkeys years.
NORKIE - hi bor, I had that problem with google chrome, but I logged out and back in and I now have the new banner!
Thai - I'm looking around the tail and it all looks the same, no problem whatsoever, you sure you've not got your beer goggles on?
I only wish I could see what you are seeing then I could comment on your eyesight I also use a 19" screen and perhaps that helps to highlight these pixels I can see, certainly would be more obvious than on a 14" monitor
Thai, when I expanded the banner to 1800 on my computer to send it seemed fine, yet to see the new banner so will have to wait and see.
Thai, I got as far as painting it, but it won't let me send it to you as it can't find you on my computer! God knows who I've been emailing these past couple of years!
Come to Thailand for a holiday Dave and I will get you "up to speed" with all this new fangled technology stuff everyone is talking about
