I will be surprised if Edin is not sold this summer we do not play the style of football that is going to make him a regular goal scorer and with Tevez coming back, Aguero playing well and Balotelli being RMs favourite i cannot see him getting much game time between now and the end of the season to prove he can be an asset. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-City-putting-Real-Madrid-Juventus-alert.html
Mancini should not have spent £27m on a forward he had no intention of playing a team to suit. Dzeko doesn't suit our style of play, simple as that. He's a very good forward, good finisher, but our play involves a lot of quick passing, something Dzeko is really bad at. I like the guy, but unless we get a new manager he is almost certainly going in the summer I reckon.
Irritatingly Dzeko is ideal for plan B,playing with width but the only winger we have doesn't know how to put a cross over
Yeah maybe if we sign a decent winger or two Dzeko would work. AJ is crap. Get Kolarov on the wing too!
Borussia Dortmund are lining up a summer move for Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko, 26, who is unhappy with his limited starts. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-Borussia-Dortmund.html?OTC-RSS&ATTR=Football
That has been Dzeko's problem this season, we have not been playing to his strengths. To do this we need 2 quality wingers who can put in crosses in from the wings for Edin to run on to. We just have not been doing this so maybe it is in the best interests of all concered that he moves on this summer. The ? is who to replace him with, do we give Ade another chance or do we move him out also. Then do we bring in a replacement or do we give John Guddetti a chance who by all acounts has scored 17 goals in 16 games while he has been out on loan in the Dutch League.
Adebayor doesn't get on with Mancini and I don't think he's good enough anyway. He's off in the summer. Guidetti will be hard to hang on to if we don't give him a chance next season as he seems a very hot prospect and has attracted the attention of lots of big clubs (apparently) so he could well be worth a go.
I dont think they can afford him - Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ull-plug-Emmanuel-Adebayor.html#ixzz1qcAefFgI
Forgot about that...he could be a problem to get rid of if he refuses to take a serious pay cut. What's he on at the minute, £160k?! He'll be getting half that tops I reckon if he moves!
If he loves it there as much as he says he does he should be willing to take a pay cut to stay there.
Why is he a turd, I think most City fans like the guy he plays with as smile on his face and tries his best unfortunately the way we are playing at the moment means he doesn't get much opportunity to get up for headers and the rest of his game lets him down.
He's simply not good enough in my opinion. I'd rather have Ameobi and I'm not lieing. All I'm saying is for what City are trying to acheive he will never ever cut the mustard.
