    Ingredients

    Serves: 3+
(3 cups) of self raising flour
    1 Teaspoon salt.
330ml (12 fl oz)(Large Can or Bottle) beer or lager

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Method

    Prep:10min › Cook:50mins › Ready in:1hr10min
1.In a large bowl, mix together the salt and flour. Add beer/Lager and continue to mix, first using a wooden spoon, then your hands. Batter will be sticky. Pour into a 23x12cm (9x5 in) greased loaf or cake tin.
2.Bake at 180 C / Gas mark 4 for 50 or 60 minutes. The top will be crunchy, and the insides will be soft.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've just baked one with lager, it's simple and tastes great, give it a go...

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First prize for the best effort, a foc go on shiny's 'Guess It' game.......

    I wasn't moaning, I was asking a question.
I find the thread more interesting than 'Avoid driving on Hareclive Road because leaves are falling on the white lines'

next time wiz i'd like to see a number of pics of each stage.
