In his post match interview last night after losing at home against Grimsby, he discussed us for some reason!

He wasnt happy that last night Grimsby were given all the 50/50 decisions from the ref and that is what put pressure on his side and cost him the game which could cost them promotion.

He went on to say that Barnet, Bristol Rovers & Grimsby ended top 3 for a reason. That we get all the 50/50 decisions from the ref in games.

Now looking at the amount of pens that Barnet get and red cards their opposition get, maybe he has a case about Barnet.

However, how can he say that about us! Did he not watch the night before where our ref sent off Harrison but kept Clough on the pitch? Did he not watch his own game vs us earlier in the season where Mildenhall got sent off which was a 50/50 challenge? Was he not present when Eastleigh turned up at the Mem and beat is with help from the ref who had a shocker that game?

Sounds like complete sour grapes to me. His side started off awful and could have been 3 nil down within the 1st 10 minutes. They were poor all game. Craig Stanley (ex gas) was subbed off and pretty much had a fight (with handbags) with his manager in the dug out. His side struggled to put 3 passes together all game. But his reason why they lost was because of the ref and claims the top 3 (and named the clubs) are only top 3 because we get the 50/50's from the refs.

Total bollocks. I hope they get stuffed by Grimsby in the 2nd leg!

If you want to listen to it, here is the link, click on the Eastleigh managers face half way down the page and listen. He moans straight away about the ref and mentions us after around 1 mins 10 secs.

I watched the game, he's talking absolute rubbish. Grimsby could have buried them within 15 minutes if they'd taken their chances. Both teams tried to kick each other off the park and the ref did a pretty good job overall.

If what he says is true then how come the ref didn't do some thing about the blatant time wasting, get Pell of the pitch for treatment when continued to fall over after nearly every challenge. I thought the ref favoured Eastleigh at the Mem not us

Sour grapes really, he should think himself lucky if wasn't for a chairman who's banked rolled them all season he could be playing Bitton Post Office Reserves instead of Grimsby Town.

I guess he was miffed that we only had two players sent off against them down there and they could still only scrape a draw...

    Lol
He should worry about his own side
But no he has to bitch about the clubs above them.
Get over yourself and let the team he picks week in week out do the talking.
    Utter sour grapes
