    Still early day's but we've got to be happy with the way the teams playing and our current position in the league.

    A win at Blackburn on Wed 26-Oct in the CC could put us in line for something to put in the cabinet. Even if we don't win anything, finishing above the bindippers ( currently one place below us in 5th ) will feel like a trophy.

    There's a general feel good feeling around town and everything in the garden is looking rosie, the best feeling for quite some time.

    Just hope it continues and we finish the season on a high.

    It even affects the non football supporters, people walk around with smiles on their faces and a spring in their step.

    I totally agree.

    No-one is getting carried away with our good start, but just seem content to enjoy it while it lasts. I will still be happy to finish 10th and have a decent cup run, with no further eruptions behind the scenes.

    Couldnt agree more. It does make a refreshing change, but I hate to be the bearer of bad news .......Shola will be fit again soon.

    Harsh as they usually off the kidnapped person anyway! I say we send him out on loan to the Championship. He'll still score down there and when we get to mackem killing time, we can recall him and stick him on the bench just in case.

    I wonder if Gervinho has had any regrets about joining Arsenal instead of us?

    He must look at the league table, and if he compares the great atmosphere and happiness amongst the Newcastle players, with the feelings within the Arsenal squad and his miserable git of a manager, he might be regretting his decision to dismiss us.

    I know that we won't stay this high in the table and that Arsenal will recover, but just for the moment I like this thought!

    Gervinho will probably be happy enough sitting counting his money. Can't be too happy about the football though.

    Loving it!

    People still think we are just a lucky team and have an average team! A Fulham fan told me that he hopes we don't do a Blackpool lol.

    I mentioned to him that our team is 10 times better than Blackpool's and also considerably better than Fulham's!

    What has Gervinho done of note so far? He's certainly not setting the world on fire. I'm pleased we didn't get him, I'm much happier with the players we've got.

    He can't accept the fact he is bald but the bit hair he has got on the back of his head he tries to make it look like he has loads of hair haha
