I think we all know what's going to happen there now and with our match against Sunderland on TV next week ..................
Yes, I'll be heading into the city early, so won't be doing it. Sorry guys - it's have loved to have seen Bamford score against Palace!!!
It's no good picking over the bones, it's water under the bridge. Let's hope and pray we get Klose back quickly!
I think how bad a result this is will be decided by how Sunderland do, and our next result. It goes without saying that Sunderland is a must-win now. Really hope we have Klose back!
If Klose is out I doubt we will get many a clean sheet.. Blooming heck i feel dissapointed I hope there is an uplifting poem to cheer me up ?
Very bad defeat for you today, we (SAFC) come to your ground there next week in the match of the season now for us both, I remember 2 years ago when people said we were down 7 points adrift but stayed up, you are in 'the comfort zone' very bad for most teams thinking you are about safe. we are the great escape team and will do it again starting tomorrow !.
Our forwards (I won't call them strikers) were abysmal, that was horrible to watch. I just want someone to tell me Naismith had a good game!! He was not interested, didn't chase, didn't tackle, didn't go for the 50/50 balls, didn't go for headers, I could go on but I won't,
He was 100x better than Bamford. Had he hit his head or something?? I don't think the kid knew what sport he was playing!
I liked Mbokani's workrate, Naismith was better in the first half. Neither as "Strikers" though. Like Attacking midfielders/wingers. They always drifted wide. Mbokani was often the guy picking it up on the wing, looking to get it in the box! Who's in there? The strik....... Oh.
Why can't we do things the easy way for once?! FFS! We always have to make things difficult for ourselves. Palace were no great shakes today, they were there for the taking. A win today and we're safe pretty much, a draw would keep Palace in touch and take the pressure off a bit for the Sunderland game. But no, we **** it up again.
