Have any other folk (non nigels) noticed that the telly coverage of the Commonwealth games has become very English centric as the games have gone on?

In from work, lets catch up with the games I thought. Hazel Irvine interviewing English shooters . Straight to Nicola Adams slapping about the boxing ring . Back to the studio for an interview with an English burd who came second in some middle distance or other.

    Pretty typical really.

Nevermind eh after September's referendum we won't be able to tune into the English Broadcasting Company.

I don't think anyone else on here cares, certainly not enough to post about 30 threads. You're worse than ER and his soup.

I thought they'd been reasonably even handed about it - can't be all that easy to cover absolutely everything solely on BBC 1 / 2 when England and Scotland are winning so many medals.. Mind, I dunno why they spent so long going on about that South African with the weirdo dad last night...

With the amount of money spent on the team they should do too. Mind, if there were as many athletics medals as there are swimming ones Kenya and Jamaica would smash everyone!

Have to say that hasn't come across in the venues ER. I certainly didn't think they'd boo (did anyone really think they'd be that bad mannered?) but have been a bit surprised at how much the Scottish crowd has got behind the English competitors. Respect is one thing but they're actually openly, and in some cases quite pasionately, supporting them in a lot of events.

That's the ones that are voting yes Dan.

Being a man of the earth I support all nationalities. Gives me a serene inner calmness and I am delighted whomever wins.

I'd post one but you'd probably say it was Anglo-centric.
