Don’t know why anyone’s surprised. They’ve been getting worse every year since Ancelotti left them. They’ve gone from top half of the table to hovering in the middle of the bottom half to being in a relegation battle every year. Dyche being appointed was nothing more than a survival job with no ambition higher than that.

A club like Everton with their history needs to have higher ambitions than 16th or 17th every year and their supporter’s expect that.

 

Wouldn't mind a day out to Everton's shiny new stadium next season, hopefully they'll appoint Rooney and it'll be a cert it will happen
