Dunno if it's been mentioned anywhere else in great detail but isn't anyone a bit worried about team spirit in the dressing room after the near punch up yesterday between Dunne and BAE ??
It was, believe it or not, Joey who kept the two apart and from my reasonably good view of the incident from the paddock, if it wasn't for him then it surely would of come to blows.

Does everyone on here think it would of all been forgotten after the game and the 2 would kiss and make up, sharing a nice cup of tea ?? Or could it be the start of another feud that yet again f***s us up at the worst possible time ? After all.......It's the Rangers way :(

Looks like the grafters are getting fed up with the egos just like last year. Austin had a go at Ekotto too a while back. He's a big time Charlie and definitely not the "right sort" Redknapp was banging on about. Yes he's a quality footballer but what good is it when he don't give a monkey's?

I don't think I've ever seen a side trying to win something (promotion) play with such a laissez-faire attitude. Half of them really don't give a toss!

I agree with you Swords. Smacks of 'déjà vu' from last year.

    Very worrying, IMO.

We're making the same mistakes again, with these types of players. I'd put Hill left back and get Onuoha into the middle.
BAE has previous for this kind of attitude. Great player, but I'd rather have Clint who will actually give a ****!

I have grown increasingly frustrated with Ekotto. He made no attempt to play against Reading, hoofing everything. Pity Joey didn't let Dunne at him, he badly needs to be taken down a peg.

I suspect the referee would have then sent them both off; though on reflection yesterday's ref would have probably have bottled it.

I have this image in my head of Dunne clocking him and BAE going down like a sack of spuds, only to bounce back up off his hair, only for Dunne to smack him again..........and again..............and again!!

I don't know who BAE thinks he is. Dunne would wipe him out, he needs to wind his neck in a bit. It's telling that it's always Benoit who tries to get physical in response to criticism, it was the same when Austin had a moan at him for that crappy delivery earlier in the season.
I really can't understand why BAE makes no effort to stop crosses/shots coming into the box. He turns his body and makes himself as small as possible. That goal yesterday has been coming for a while- it very nearly did Vs Bolton(?) when BAE played the same trick and they hit the crossbar. Is the idea that "forcing" the opposition to cross is better than letting them run into the box?

I noticed this too. I've not seen him punt the ball long as frequently all season. Let's not forget the stinker he had V burnley.

I really don't want BAE to become the new whipping boy. I hope, therefore, that he takes yesterdays words from Dunne and minor barracking from the R block as an encouragement to shove a rocket where the sun don't shine and play to the very best of his considerable ability.

There has to be a valid reason why we lost at home on the weekend but the real reason why players didn't turn up .................. as you all have mentioned, smacks of the same type of team harmony as last year.
    Hope I'm wrong.

I'm trying not to have a go at the players, but the people who brought some of them to the club and insist on playing them is another matter.

If two people I managed came to blows, or nearly came to blows, I would be held responsible. In fact, a while back, for two years in a row at a national sales conference (permitted piss up in my industry) I had to separate a bloke who worked for me from someone who was actually senior to us both,. The third year as, pissed again, they started to square up I just said "Know what lads, I want to see this, go for it" At which point they laughed and it was all over. Bizarrely they were arguing about work, extremely passionately and both sincerely believing they were right (it was about how we do business, not cash).

I have a lot of sympathy with Mr Dunne.

Is this problem of players here for a payday but not give toss more acute at QPR than elsewhere. I don't mean the big clubs near the top of the Prem but let's say mid-table Championship clubs? I rarely stray on other boards the few times I have've not seen threads of this nature
