Apparently out for a number of weeks.

    Well done Ashley.

    2 fit CB's left now.

<laugh> Brilliant. We have two fit centre backs, one fit left back (who still treats the football like a ****ty stick) and one fit right back. Actually we have Raylor, I'm sure he won't break down...

Never mind the bench, he has to be better than Willo

We might as well just play Colo and Janmaat at the back and give Perez some support up front instead - can't be any more risky than Willo & Haidara in defence. Would at least see some goals

What you on about we see loads of goals BECAUSE of WIllo and Haidara. Your problem is you're obsessed with us scoring the goals.

Wow, you've just enlightened me. I think I might enjoy Toon matches far more now that I understand how to appreciate ALL goals scored AND conceded. Cheers <ok>

Must be very blinkered if you cannot see Haidara improving over last few games - in fact he has been no worse than Janmaat! He is a young foreign player who had a very bad injury thanks to some callous knob head and has had the joys of being tutored by the likes of Pardew.

Would like to think that he will get even better and force Dummett to another team!

As for the CB's I rate Good and Satka both better than Streete anyway!

I'm deeply shocked and surprised to find that the squad is unable to cope with the rigours of a football season.

Who could have known that players would get injured during the season?
    Has it ever happened before?

As Howard Jones once stated: No one is to blame. <ok>

Didn't Streete get injured in his first game for Rangers?

He has improved. However you must be blinkered if you think he is anywhere near up to standard as it stands. He has yet to have a single game where he has not showed Sunday league standard ability to control a football. Every game. That worries me. His defending and positional sense is still suspect and some of his passing in the last third is just moronic. He is very quick, pretty strong and whips a lovely cross in.

You're not seriously suggesting he has been as good as Janmaat this season? <laugh> Daryl has had some dodgy games but has been one of our better players.

I hope he continues to get better and turns out a good player. Being tutored by Pardew hasn't done Ayoze any harm, or Cabaye or other talented players. Seems like an excuse to me. His injury was a bad tackle, but that happens in football.

Good is only just on his way back after a long period out and Satka blatantly still quite weak (though looks talented). Impossible to judge all 3, they don't play first team football. I'd pick any of the 3 ahead of Willo.

Haidara basically needs games. He is getting better. I do agree BG tho, being able to get up and down the pitch really is only a small part of it. you need to see evidence of being more comfortable on the ball To be confident they are going to cut it

Hopefully he can progress as he is young. The control of the ball is the thing which worries me most. You don't see many pro footballers do that regularly.

Please re-read that I had put over last few games and yes I would say he has been on a par with him in those few games!

Oh but don't worry - am sure we can have another youngster who can come on and if he isn't an instant success we can write them off as well <doh>

Fair enough. Does that mean we're pointing to Janmaats poorer games as an example of Haidara is good enough? He needs time but based on what we've seen so far, its not good. Same goes for Dummett (who has shown more than Haidara). Both are young players who will need to develop a fair degree if they are good enough for a top 10 aspiring side (which is what the club claims to be)

    Apparently Good is also injured.

So that leaves Colo, Williamson and Satka. Literally threadbare. What odds on Colo limping off in the next game?
