Have taken away Thierry Henry's goal against Blackburn and given it to Scott Dann as an own goal. Disappointing. He now has only 228. How do they work it out? http://www.arsenal.com/usa/sh/news/...tm_campaign=Feed: gunners-usa-news (USA News)
Hmm maybe the ball's trajectory would end up outside if not for the deflection? I think the rule should be if the shot is on target and the ball is deflected it counts as a regular goal. No matter if it wrong foots the keeper.
Must be exhausting work considering the time they've taken deliberating. I can only Imagine the level of physics, materials engineering and Maths required....I wonder how much they're paid...?
Crucial and vital work this panel do - I mean it's 2012 and we still can't tell if the 'kin ball crosses the line but at least we can ensure the correct goal scorer is credited with a goal 4 months after the event....
What a bunch of petty ****s, there have been much more obvious own goals than that which haven't been taken away!
