Speaking of ****/not **** films and books.

The Godfather = great film but really disappointing book.

 

which order did you "do" them in as i read the book first* and thought it was pretty good however the first 2 films are brilliant so not sure how the book would stand if read after seeing them .

* Mind you i was only 14/15 when i read the book which may have influenced my view on it

 

Saw the first 2 films a few hundred times before I read the book.

 

i'm not surprised you didn't rate the book then since they are true classics

I've been smoking it for 40 years and my head still functions pretty effectively. Not everyone's the same. It's also very effective with arthritis

Anyone seen The Pharmacist on Netflix? New documentary about the oxycontin crisis in America. Watched the first 2 last night and thought it was excellent.

9/10 so far

 

Mate used to have oxy parties, goes well with Nitrous and pingers

It's well worth a watch, just highlights how GPs are legal dealers.

 

worryingly that should be already well known about the globe but sadly its not, luckily programmes like this will get through 2 some and maybe just maybe they wont class it conspiracy like they would have if the story had come out of a smokers mouth.

 

Drug companies spend millions every year on jamborees and freebees, specifically aimed at persuading GPs to prescribe their products. Especially in the USA where the free market in Healthcare, and the light regulatory touch of central government, creates a free for all. Big pharma will fly doctors out to all expenses paid "Health Conferences" at golf resorts and spas, and it's all perfectly legal.
