Much more broad in Newcastle and Sunderland then it is where I am. It's can be tricky. I lived in Sherburn in Elmet for a few months, Grown men calling me Love and Cock, quite strange. Lincoln as well, I'm hard of hearing and find that quite mumbley and lazy. My Accent is like Vic & Bobs. you can tell it's the northeast but still understandable.

I'd get off at Central. Much nicer pubs on the way to the ground.

But I'm not drawing a map.

    Enjoy the game.

Last time I was in Newcastle I was disappointed the find that The Forth had changed from a bare-brick walled pub with fine ales and a good jukebox, into some sort of poncey restaurant.

    I was dismayed.

Try the Town Wall opposite or Bodega closer to the ground.

They've cancelled a Hull to York train and there's loads of pissed off City fans at Hull and Brough who are now having to go the wrong way to Donny to get a connecting train.

Meh, the 2 1/2 hour drive to Hull is as long as I can stomach in the car, 4 hours to Newcastle too far sadly :(

Hope everyone has a great day mind!

There's only the Blonde Barrel I'd drink in around the station like. I'm more of a Quayside fella though, There's a little Jazz Club up the Ally with a few boozers I've been in before going to the Academy that were ok.

Tilly's opposite the Academy is good. As is the Wetherspoons at the end of the Westgate Road.

That jazz clubs good though. When it's open.

Of course, I have to remember it's a match day and not a night out. Are they going close Gotham Town or what? Prime boozer spot taken up with a right dump. First thing you see coming out of the station too. Shame.

Been in once. It was awful.

Irish bar opposite station used to be OK. Haven't been there for a while.

Too busy for me like, first port of call out of the station isn't it? As everyone avoids the dump next door.

Strange the Lounge has stood closed so long, used to work there back in the day. Another prime spot not being utilised to it's potential.
