Smug: I didn't take it as you shouting me down. I was just pointing out that I fully expect to be in the future by either you or others. We all have different views and that is what makes reading, and now writing on a forum all the more fun. You do seem pretty vociferous in your thoughts regarding Mr Bruce - can you partly accept that when he got it right we played pretty well and had a few decent players. Yes, ultimately he did get it wrong and quite rightly got the sack. His good days in the context of Sunderland's history were pretty good, apart from the two higher placed seasons under Reid. Altbough, I still shudder when I think about how much we paid for Flo (and many others) - so even Reidy got the transfer market badly wrong at times. I do wonder if some of your views regarding Brucey have been further soured by some of your run in's with some of the 'nobhead' element that emanates from the tigers board.

I always try to be polite and reasonable and try to only ever answer fire with fire when it's merited.
I did a decade on the doors and only ever lost it twice. Losing it with people for no good reason isn't big or clever.
You'll soon be put in your place by the decent people, on here, if you do ...... I think that's fair and better than Mods waving a big stick.

I don't care enough about Bruce to be vociferous tbh.
I just dislike the way he was given a great chance at Sunderland, was backed by the cub & supporters but blamed both when he ****ed it up.

Of course he got it right some of the time but that's all he ever mentions ...... not waving the white flag in cups & derbies.

My opinions of Bruce aren't influenced by anything other than my own experience of sitting & watching some horrendous performances.

The Hull posters are just little flies who get trapped in my conservatory and flap around until I pull their wings off.
Their views on Bruce are laughable. They shouted the odds non-stop when they were 10th and laughed at our warnings that it wouldn't last.
They went very quiet when that came true and virtually silent when they plummeted below a club they reckoned were 'relegated'.
But for our stupid gifts of 6 points they'd have been relegated.
We shot ourselves in the foot in the away match, reloaded and aimed again at the home match.

We'll see how keen they are to swamp this board, next season, when Bruce either walks or loses the plot as he usually does <ok>
