please log in to view this image Test Leicester! Think he doped the Mags with Ketamine by the sounds. Seriously though if this true sport is ****ed
They've blurred that just enough for it to be unreadable. I can see Leicester, Arsenal and Chelsea named though. Could be a revelation but I suggest it will all just blow over and nothing will really happen.
Taken from the Article. Bonar was in confessional mood that evening. He had barely sipped his first glass of red wine before he started naming some of his famous sports star clients from football, cricket, boxing and mixed martial arts. This newspaper has decided not to name the sportsmen Bonar identified but the information will be passed to the authorities. The doctor claimed he had worked with "a few footballers" who have been or are currently members of the playing staff of the Premier League football clubs Arsenal, Birmingham City, Chelsea and Leicester City. He named some of the footballers, including players who are well known to fans. He claimed one had been given a "cocktail" of steroids and another had approached him recently seeking a similar treatment to extend his playing career. It is the first time that Premier League players have been directly dragged into the doping scandal, although this newspaper revealed six months ago that a study by Uefa, the governing body of European football, had discovered 68 players with "atypical" drug test results across the continent's top clubs. Bonar said none of his players had ever tested positive for drugs. "Footballers are hardly ever tested anyway," he said. "Think about it, you're like in your thirties and you're on the football pitch. How do you keep up with the 18-year-olds on the pitch unless you're doing something. If you're not doing something, then you are going to get screwed over." Obviously these are just allegations and we'd have to wait to see if anything comes of this. But it begs the question. Should all players in a match day squad be tested before each fixture in the Premier League? I think they should be doing this already. It's affordable given the amount of money in the game. Instead of clubs being docked points for fielding drugged up players, get to the players before they play and punish individuals and not clubs.
