Absolute idiots, these pillocks think they are true supporters fighting for the pride of their clubs, when really they are just bringing us both into disrepute, no place for it! I have nothing against banter between clubs but this is just stupid pissed up wanna be tough guys attempting to point score.
Not fans, idiots hiding behind a cause to justify their actions with some sort of legitimacy. No room for it in society. They do not speak for me when they say they are Cardiff city fans.
Taff before you slant Cardiff City fans down i think we should wait for the whole true story to come out shouldn`t we , very strong rumours coming out of Newbury was that a family bus was picked on by a drunken crowd of yobs from swansea and the fathers and other bystanders stood up to them and kicked bullys arse as they say .....................2 arrests from swansea yobs but none Cardiff?. The incedent happened apparently as the kids were trying to get to their coach and then followed by a mob from a pub inside the ground ....sounds a familiar jack trick!!!. Let the truth be told before we have a go at our own................... Let the truth be said eh
JH, who said what to who first is irrelevant imo. I agree with Tychoswan that both clubs once again brought into disrepute by so called fans and at a race meeting of all places. Theres a vid clip of the incident doing the rounds and to be honest, I've seen a lot worse but headline writers and neutrals just see South Wales football hooligans and its that image that CCFC and I'm sure SCFC have been working hard to change.
Agree H but seems even some of our own are too quick to put the blame on us yet again ,what parent would not stand up for his kids in such a situation?
John. this not about apportioning tribal blame, these idiots are a blight on both of our houses. No point in getting into who started it because as H says, the situation will reflect on South Wales football fans as a whole. It's unacceptable that these violent factions continue to use football clubs as a reason for engaging in their moronic behaviour. I also think we'll do no good by trying to score cheap points because of the actions of idiots that both clubs have tried to eradicate from their "fan" base.
JH not being funny mate but you seem to be blaming jacks, based on "rumour". Bit arrogant that son! Lets be honest here, what sort of a parent takes children to a race tack?.... CHAVS.... In fact what sort of working class person goes to a race track CHAVS..... So lets be honest these were not Jacks or Taffs they were dirty stinking gambling gypo chavs from both Swansea and Cardiff getting pissed and embarrassing Wales..... P.S. Seen three sets of footage, saw no children, Swans tops or Taff tops....think your not educated on what happened!
JH, all for the truth coming out but I stand by my words if there are Cardiff "fans" involved and it was a football related rivalry that led to the violence.
JH I can't see anyone apportioning blame in this thread. Both groups are responsible for their own actions and both sets are to blame. I merely point out the Cardiff element because I am a Cardiff city fan and I do not condone their actions. Swansea fans can air their views on the Swansea contingent involved if they wish, I have no interest in the Swansea element.
At no point have i said it was fact ,yet?. Also 3jacks who are you to lable people who go to race meetings Chavs?,its is a family day out as well and entertainment put on for youngsters . Taff in response to your statement m8 im sure any parent would stand between their kids and a drunken mob anyday.
I'm with sussex, whatever the whys and wherefores, we can do without this. It's of no benefit taking the moral high ground. Once again, our two clubs (both with previous) are in the spotlight for the wrong reason. The few spoiling it for the majority as is often the case.
You're probably not wrong cracker ( for once ). Anyone from the Swansea area and anyone from the Cardiff area probably constitutes Swans vs Redbirds just to sell papers.
Do not dispute the fact any parent would protect their children. What age are the children involved? It would be a different matter entirely if a grown man assaulted a toddler. A child of 16-18 is an entirely different matter. Then you'd look for the cause of the dispute and a better resolution than having a mass fight. Better to leave the scene with the children than get involved in a fight. Protection is one thing, resolving confrontation with aggression is quite another, especially in front of your kids. A poor example of parenting in my book. I taught my kids how to stand up for themselves but they have never resorted to violence in my presence. Again I was not approtioning blame and I do not condone any violence in the name of Cardiff City FC.
Not to publicise these people but JH don’t look much like kids were any where near!! Video: Cardiff, Swansea soccer fans http://digitaljournal.com/article/328666
