I am getting to the point where I am beginning to believe actions will speak louder than words Mr Sextoy, we have clearly been desperate for at least two quality defenders this summer and have failed to get them!

The decision making seems flawed to me, why get a winger and striker in when we clearly need quality elsewhere and then we have the manager moaning his budget is spent.

The club seems to be floundering at the moment and we need some momentum to push some positivity back in to the club, the new ground saga seems to be draining the whole clubs demeanour.

Some positive action Mr Chairman, no more empty and contradictory words!!!

Totally agree banksy, these idiots that have challenged the club and wasted god knows how much of Landsdowns money and the councils money seem to be succeeding in screwing up our club! It feel's as though all energy has gone into the new ground and the task of improving city has been forgotten. We have known for 6 months plus that we needed 2 defenders surely milly knew to? I'm not sure what the answer is after the ipswich game i thought ok their a decent team (not looking that good now) after baadiff still think could have been such a different outcome if pitman had tapped in instead of going for the glory shot, and tonight what do we do play 9 at the back?? The direction has gone the vision has gone we need a new direction new passion sorry milly that means a new manager!

Maybe Leicester will do us all a favour and get a double figure score against us tonight and Millen will be sacked or will be forced to walk away.

Ipswich's results after royally beating us on the opening day are really quite concerning. I predicted Southampton and Brighton would do well as clubs that are newly promoted have a certain momentum (like we once had although it seems a long time ago now) but aside from Donny, Coventry and us the rest of the division seem capable of getting an occasional result. We don't look like we'll get any points for the foreseeable future I'm afraid.

It is easy to blame the defence for the goals but it is not that straight forward as you might as well blame the strikers for not scoring more than the defence are letting in.

It is a team sport so shows that it is the team that are not getting it right so you have to look at the tactics used and how they are trained. Both parts rest with the manager. I do not think that even if we brought another few defenders in we will start winning as it won't happen. We haven't got the best defenders in the world but they also aren't the worst.

Carey, McAllister and Fontain are our issues that all 3 are past their best due to injuries and age. They said last year that with Fontain's ankle he may have to retire from football and he is currently out with another ankle injury. On Top of those we have Jamie Wilson who I think is a very talented defender and is probably our best, if he can stay fit. Nyatanga is a good defender but struggles unless he has someone along side him telling him what to do. Stewart promised a lot when he joined but is not consistant as one game is great the next you have your head in your hands.
I thought that this year we would see more of the likes of Joe Edwards at full back but guess even though he has started once and was the best player on the pitch that is not enough to get given another chance. Glad Spence has joined but not sure right back is the correct position for the 'natural left footed' player so might be better at left back than to play woolford there which i think Millen will do tonight.

I hope that we will go two up top again as I hate using playing 4-3-3 as we play as the 3 midfielders are too narrow and we end up with Pitman playing too far out wide where you don't get the best out of him. If they are going to use that formation we would be better using Woolford and Albert wide with Pitman up top. Maynard playing just behind with two holding midfielders as 4-2-3-1 works better than 4-3-3. Must be a reason Woolford scored so many goals at Scunny?
