through his uninsulated ill fitting utilities boxes ... which is why im going round in the morning to give him a quote for the full house to be dry lined and the outside pebble dashed that should sort it
No Rebel,if you have draughts coming through PVC doors, you need a solicitor to talk to the **** that fitted them.FACT.
I'm pretty sure it is the great big gap at the bottom that I can see through.......but I am not one to question an expert.
ahh that gap hmm youre in luck my labourer used fit doors so whilst im re skimming your place he can sort that gap
Sword is right about the reveals, that's where most draughts come in.Run a bead of silicone around them, could do the trick. PS. Do it now before the weather gets any worse.
No good for this problem. The reveals are ok, although I need to get a rake of work done on this gaff. Trouble is that every **** in this town is a cowboy.
Thanks all the help fellas. Maybe this thread could be a regular feature on Not 606, which can be used by anyone who has a DIY query. That would be nice.
Like Fan and IG have already said, a bit of 2x1 and some compression (bubble) gasket stuck to the 'slave' door will sort it Jip. As for your problem Reb, is it a low threshold pvc door? Or do you have to step over the white plastic frame when you go in and out?
