I read in yesterday's press( the people) that MM and ME
Were at loggerheads about the transfer
kitty. Apparently MM has been told
to cut wages and balance the books
if he wants to sign other players. MM has
said he wants to take the town into the
premiership and is deeply unhappy with
    the current situation.

I know this sounds like a typical manager/owner
pre season posturing, but anything that
upsets the harmony in our club can't be good

With the manager merry go round now gathering
momentum I don't want MMs head turning

Hopefully this paper talk with no substance
but I am feeling a bit twitchy

Would be criminal to let him leave
after all the hard he has dont.

It has been reported by a few sources so I think there is definitely some mileage in these claims. But I suppose every manager and owner have their exchanges and differences of opinion, with ultimately the owner having the final say.

I get the impression MM was told he would be getting more if he kept us up when he first joined, in which case ME could have moved the goalposts.. which would prove that he hasn't learnt his previous lessons

It's now up to MM to hunt and scavenge for bargains whilst trying to extract more money from ME..
Every manager we've had under the ME era has claimed to have a good relationship with ME so I'd be surprised if this spat is something that would drive the manager out of the club <ok>

Obviously i'm hoping this is all just the media blowing things out of proportion. I'm sure every manager wants to spend more than the owner will give him, therefore i don't see too much to worry about just yet. Saying that, it would be very beneficial to all supporters if Mick came out and publically said that there is no major issues, and that he is 100% committed to the cause. The sooner he says this, the better.
If nothing is said by him, and the longer these rumours are circulated, then the more likelihood is of the story.

At the end of the day, if no one is coming in for him, what is he to do? He's not going to volunteer himself for the dole queue, is he? I admit tho, the things he says doesn't help his situation, and he should be man enough to admit his wrongs, and say that he either wants to stay and repay the faith this club has shown him, or keep shtum. No one wants to hear the complete bollocks he says, especially the fans. I have total empathy for his situation, as a gambler, but please...like the majority of us, grow up and be a responsible human being!

I can't see ANY resemblence to Barton, at least Barton general says what we all think, and doesn't rub our noses in it.
I'd respect Chopra a lot more if he held his hands up and took responsibilty for his actions.

I made it in the comparison that they are both twitter twits and don't know when to shut their gobs.

Is it me or is it all following the same pattern?
Manager comes in, says he has a good relationship with Marcus and then come the summer the same complaints about lack of funds and missing out on top targets surface again.
First RK, then Jewell and now rumours about Mick being concerned about the lack of investment must have some ounce of truth in them. If Marcus is serious about gaining promotion with his club then he must realise that Mick is the man to back with cash.
Other than Marcus saving us from administration he really hasn't done much for us except take us dangerously close to relegation. If these rumours turn out to be true then my patience with him as our owner will surely be tested.
