Reading through some of the posts, it's (not) interesting to see various ( usually one ) members submitting their 'dislike' for some of the posts. I have had the honour of incurring displeasure on many occasions. Quite honestly, I couldn't care less. I'm not here to make myself popular -although I do not deliberately try to antagonise members. I seek to try to join in with 'conversations' in threads of my choosing, and try to use mature, reasoned argument to validate my viewpoint. I'm perfectly at peace if somebody 'dislikes' what I write - provided they explain their reason(s). It is logical to assume that there must be a reason for rejection ! --- so why don't you just tell us - instead of pathetically hitting one key on your 'device'.
Thanks Rupert........ although with your username, - rather like mine - it's very difficult to take you seriously ( or to 'dislike' you ) ( I've still got one of your annuals. (waiting for an idiot to reply by editing the word annuals )
Somebody give me a T ! ( I know you didn't need any clues - but I'm desperately trying to be 'liked' )
No, say it ain't so? "T" cares not a jot for Tags/Rep/Likes/Dislikes, he is above that sort of childishness. How do I know? Because he keeps telling everyone.
thanks everyone - my 'dislike' count went through the roof today - no I wasn't surprised. It still doesn't explain the torrent of abuse I got from a woman who complained because I was standing on the path - talking on my mobile phone - somehow I was in her way! - couldn't she just walk around me?
SuperHooper23 Can you please curb your enthusiasm for this thread.................... I don't usually go for American humour - but I have seen all the episodes--- and have a great deal of empathy for Larry ( I could play the part for real - except for my full head of hair )
