I'm gutted at how Dirk's season has panned out. You can see even he know's it's not acceptable. He looks genuinely gutted when he's not done well.

His tracking back isn't what it used to be and he has left Johnson open a hell of a lot this season. He's on the wane certainly but I'd leave till the summer to let him go. He's great to have around the dressing room as well and he can have a positive impact in there and in the training ground to make sure our season stats in the straight and narrow.

I love Dirk but accept he's not the player he was.

I've been told he's getting sold but probably in the summer rather than this month.

He is h vin a poor season, been a great player for us, but from the start of the season he was coming off the bench.I think perhaps that the fact he isnt a guarenteed starter any more, and isnt gettin as many minutes is effecting his form.I still think there may be a bit left with Dirk yet, I think its just a confidence thing rather than a permanent dip, if hes gets 1 goal , can see him banging a few in.Id be amazed if he leaves be4 the end of the season

Bet Dirk scores the odd goal or 2 in the next month

for me he's just lost a lot of pace over the last two years, he's not getting into the right positions and his passing is poor. He's going nowhere though... no chance.

It happens I suppose, he can't run around like he used to. Time to move on in the summer. Great payer for us.

I reckon a move back to the dutch league or maybe bundesliga at the end of the season is possible, hate to say it but hes beenvery disappointing this season, although hes a top professional. I wouldnt be surprised if he left in summer

i don't know what to do with him... actually downing has not helped at all here. if dirk were wide right and stayed there he could do a few things to work his way back in but with downing being stuck over there having utterly failed to ru na full back or cross form his left side position... well it's dirk that is getting dropped for the big buy.

Mind you dirk would the the first name off my team list if i could as he simply has no pace. the issue is downing is not making us forget all about kuyt is he?

over all kuyt has a lot of qualities but they all get over ridden by the fact that he is so slow he is simply not getting to the ball to go do what he needs to.

I'd take that - he's been a great servant for the club but he's on the wrong side of 30 and his attributes are starting to wane. £10m is a very decent price; Probably about the same amount Luuk de Jong would cost.

Great servant to the club, would like to see him stay and work with the youth but he still has a career in him and I wouldn't want to see him spend it on the sidelines.

Agree with most of the above. He's definitely having a poor season- whether he's past it or can still recover form is anybody's guess. It seems odd that he was playing so well in the latter half of last season. Not being an automatic starter has been detrimental to him I think and I agree he's been sacrificed to allow for the summer signings- a move that hasn't really improved the team imo.
If he decides to leave then he does so with my best wishes, he's been a great pro and contributed a lot to the club.

Love Kuyt even though he has never been amazing.

This season does seem to be catching up with him though. Let's wait untill the end of the season - he's a proper Red!

Would be sad to see him go though, he has been a great servant to the club.
