Direction of the club

After being a season ticket holder for many years , I find the direction our club has taken very depressing.
I do wonder whether the authorities have combined to make sure the club fullfills its fixtures before
pulling the plug on liquidation. For the club to fold before the end of the season would create lots of
problems so in my opinion they are making sure we finnish the season off

That is a good point. Of course the league wouldn't want one of their teams to fold mid-season, so maybe they are hoping/perhaps helping us survive, until our fixtures our fulfilled

 

I jokingly call One Direction 'No direction', but I think that's more applicable to us than them.

Agree everything is very depressing at the moment, although it's been heading in this direction for many years now. But remember it's always darkest before the dawn.

I assume you're talking about the football league and/or football association when you talk about the authorities. I can't see anything they've done to make sure we fulfill our fixtures - they've just carried on in their same old doddering way, tweaking here and there on the Directors & Owners Test. But if you're right and they are making sure we fulfill our fixtures then that's a good thing, because it gives us time. And just at the moment that's what we need.

Well......... that's another question isn't it.

Will Chanrai allow it to be liquidated? We actually don't have evidence that Chanrai won't pass the Owners & Directors Test.......... that's an assumption everyone has made, with good reason, but it's still an assumption.

 

Come on guys keep your chins up.......as others have said darkest before the dawn and all that. At least you can get a bit of a laugh at us trying to hang on to our new found status.......
