I'm gutted that he's going to leave us this summer. He's a top quality that deserves first team football, he's 31 years old so you may think he's after one more big payday. I read quote from his agent last night and my respect for Berbatov has gone through the roof, i like his attitude, he didn't moan when he was on the bench. People will say he failed with us but i disagree with that because he was the joint top goalscorer last year with over 20 league goals and without them we may have not won the title last season. The thing that gets me is people say he failed with us in his first season, correct me if i'm wrong but he didn't have a pre-season under his belt and he did score some cruical goals for us like the last miute winner away at bolton in the 08/09 season and he did the same at old trafford last season as well. People also said he only performs against the smaller clubs, at Tottenham he scored vs us and chelsea he also scored against them in his first season with us as well. My favourite Berbatov moment would have to be that overhead kick he scored against liverppol last season, to control with knee and hit it first time was class and most overhead kicks either get saved or go over the bar.

Are you disappointed that he's leaving in the summer ?

What's your favourite Berbatov moment while he was with us ?

I'd take him back at Spurs like a flash, he didn't go about getting his move to Utd the right way but the man is class and definitely better than Defoe, Saha and Adebayor.

One of my favourite Berbatov moments was the hatrick against Liverpool.

    Meh.

He has some fantastic skills and great vision but he's not consistent and appears to be way down in the pecking order. If he wants to move and get first team football then I wish him all the best.

Think he's on a lot of money as well, too much for a 4th choice striker.

This, probably one of his best performance in a United shirt.

Dimitar Berbatov , the man is so good he can play football at the highest level WALKING!!

Any fan who did not appreciate him at United is a fool, pretty much won us our RECORD BREAKING 19th league crown and finished top scorer, one of only 5 premiership players to score 5 in match. Will be a sad day when this model pro (who loves United) leaves.

Good player, but he's like Torres in that you have to play to his strengths and style to get the best out of him. I think Fergie bought him in the hope of changing his style of play long term, and it just hasn't worked out. If goes to a team where they play to his strengths he'll score a shed load of goals. Opportunity lost for both sides I think :(

Berb is a good player but he is not suited to our team AT ALL he is ****ing too eager to kill play. He would do well at Liverpool

Lol. He's still valuable to our team at the moment. Hope he plays against Blackburn, we should control that game and Berb should get a lot more time on the ball. With Fergies intentions to play a quick pacey game, there won't be room for Berb in our squad, as he doesn't play well when we're attacking with power and pace.

For me Dimi isnt the problem its the team around him
It was the same with Veron

Dimi would be excellent for Barca imo. wouldnt be top goal scorer but the deft touches, vision, clever passes, holding the ball

We have a pretty direct game at UTD, basically 442 with the wingers doing the damage

Players like Veron and Berba are wasted in this type of football, their type is a 'intelligent' football
