    I hope Rafa doesn't spend all of his non-existent transfer budget on a new LB because we all know he'll just end up playing Dummett if he's semi fit irrelevant of whether we need a more attacking LB to try and win a match (see Haidara, Lazaar).

    To be fair this lad and Poundje have long been targets of Rafa. Is this not just papers regurgitating old stories because:

    1. They have no information
    2. We aren't trying to buy anyone
    3. They're programmed to start rumours on January 1st regardless

    Rafa will monitor the **** out of him only for the ‘deal’ to fall down at the last minute, thereby meaning there’s no time left to sign an alternative.

    Cue Charnley putting out a statement about lack of value in the market etc.
