Well I did say you would struggle in league one Still, normal life resumes now with the Strawberry bottles getting ready to come out for your relegation party I will be there of course
Chris- Gashead, You are right - League 1 is proving much tougher than we thought (especially as we lost a lot of good players in the summer) and some of our players have been found out. However, unlike you (who have a new manager every year or so) we have faith in our manager as he restructures the side. Turner's sides always come on stronger in the second half of the season and this will take us to safety. I think you are in greater danger of relegation than we are because we are not deluded enough to believe we have a divine right to be in any particular division.
glass houses Gashead glass houses........Wrexham, Luton, Newport, FGR.......who will you be swapping places with in the league of death?, you are dithering on the precipice............
Stadium plans were approved mate waiting on sainsburys to get the go ahead, which will be very soon (hopefully) and then full stream ahead mate
that's because about 10 years ago you were non league We have always been the mighty Bristol Rovers and should be doing better
What are your gates these days? I was told they are on the rise and some of the biggest you have ever had. Something like 3,200 for one single game???
Do my eyes deceive me? Did you lot just lose to tinpots Hereford in the cup??? Surely it was Huddersfield or something cuz you lot wouldn't lose to a non league side....would you?
Not playing against Bristol Rovers this season has meant we're short of match practice against hugely inferior sides.
Chris- Gashead, I think your team also lost in the Cup today though to be fair reports suggest you played better than we did (though that would not be very difficult!)
cgs, yes we are struggling, but town have already played the top 8 teams in the league, and our squad may need strengthening in january. the gas will do well to look out for 10 or 11 bargains if they can afford them. yes we lost at hereford and the club are to be congratulated on their charity work in launching hereford utd on a profit making cup run our home gates average 5500/6000 and compares favourably with the 2000 gas get at the dunfords dairies memorial ground. ps how are you getting on without the rugby club?. pleased to hear about your new ground on the downs. just suprised you got planning permission. do hope sainsburys get planning permission at the mem. life is like alton towers in league 1 just hope the gas get here in say 15 years. i do hope matty h is getting better and may come back in april to keep you in the league. wonder if both bristols will be relegated?. now please dont get me going on bristols. pip pip gas . floreat salopia!
