Boo the bastard, or give him grief?

Didn't come across to bad on tv, but some reports say it was fierce.

It was fierce, and rightly so. The lying scumbag looked like a rabbit in the headlights at times, tottally ineffective

I was there booing him as he got off the team bus and never stopped all through the match. My boo was even recognised on the NE news by my neice. Fame at last.

For me the chant of..THERES ONLY ONE GREEDY BASTARD..was good but the chant of the day was when Wickham scored..the old Bent speed of light chant with Wickhams name replacing Bents, that must have hurt, it would me.

I've always maintained that to boo your own players because of them not performing is absolutely counter productive. Yesterday was different, I joined in the booing when the teams came on to the pitch and continued throughout the match and felt justified and satisfied in doing so. The TV sound had to have been turned down for the booing was quite fierce as was the chant about him being a "greedy bastard". In answer to Syd's comment about even the polite East Stand booing, blame me and my two mates who started the East Stand response on a number of occasions.

Bobgee's observation linking Bent, rabbits and headlights sums up Judas's performance perfectly.

Aye it was good. Credit to the SWC for that.

Really enjoyed yesterday, it's good to have a bit poison in a game now and then.

Didn't boo missed the first 3 minutes anyway (it's tradition), still think players usually play better when they are hated at certain grounds so did nowt.

I agree - I have never ever booed a Sunderland player however I really enjoyed yesterday. As I said before I was even there in time to boo him off the team bus. Happy days....

I gave him grief, but couldn't properly join in with the 'one greedy bastard' song, because I will not swear in front of my kids..

How the **** could he be surprised? It was always going to happen.
I'm sure Bent will be sitting in his mansion consoling himself that we are just jealous morons who just can't get over him. If he is, well he's wrong.
Just ask Kevin Phillips what reception he gets. Ask Hendo if he expects the same! I doubt it.

Spot on Syd but that is far too subtle for a greedy money obsessed individual named Bent
