Some friends of mine who come from Manchester visited Portsmouth today. They came back and said they couldnt believe the devastation that the earthquake had caused down there. They said they saw woman wandering the streets in a daze, with all of their possessions stuffed into shopping trolleys with loads of kids wandering behind them dressed in rags, and loads of crumbling buildings that had boarded up windows. I had to explain to them it always looked like that, and the earthquake was only a minor tremor.
Isn't Tottonsaint hilarious ? How is your "class" goalkeeper Tommy Forecast getting on out in Switzerland Totton ?!
Our 3rd choice keeper Tommy Forecast had a run out last night,do you even have a 3rd choice keeper? Have you signed enough players to have a full subs bench this season?
You are just showing off now aren't you Totton - get you, 3 goalkeepers eh ? You will be telling us next you have a modern stadium, and your own training ground.........
My understanding is that there was no need to claim on the insurance for any of the damage, as Portsmouth's insurers had put a £100 excess on the policy.
Lucky the earthquake wasn't in Southampton Channon, it would have produced £1 million worth of improvements to the city. I thank you.
Oh dear! I was beginning to believe that the immature, pathetic dialogue on NOT 606 had disappeared. You are rising to the bait of tottonsaint who clearly has too much time on his hands (probably out of work). Lets all grow up and have sensible, meaning discussions that relate to football matters only
Lets not, that would be boring. Anyway, geologists have ascertained that the quake was caused by 2500 cans of Special Brew being cracked open simultaneously at 9.00am.
Did fratton park make it thru the quake Jokes...... On a lighter note, friendly banter and all that.... has anyone seen the below video regarding the Spinnaker falling down. Certainly made me giggle. Pretty well done but obv fake. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HarEgLd2n7k
I'm surprised that never made it to the front page of the Sunday Sport (is that sad excuse for a rag still going?)
That YouTube video was created by one of the guys on my course at university for his final dissertation piece. Needless to say he got a 1st for it! Anyway, my wife said she felt the earth move yesterday morning too.........however I was out the house and it did make me feel slightly concerned!
It was most likely their keeper dropping their new "ice trophy" ......................that or their paint pot falling over BP
