Top of my list and have been for some time since I found out he was out of contract. I've been following the development and apparently a deal was in place with him joining Liverpool BEFORE Dalglish got the boot, Diame has confirmed this in interviews and was understandably gutted it didn't materialise. And as I can't see him as a Brendan Rodgers type player this rumour might actually have some legs. Here's to hoping, same class as Diakite and if we could get both we would be in good health to deal with suspensions and injuries in the defensive midfield department.
