Recently I've seen a lot of negative comments about him. I however think he could be a vital part of our run in primarily because he is a game breaker. He beats players with is one or two at a time. In the clinical way football is now played this ability cannot be understated as it opens up the game for others. Thoughts?

Absolutely agree but something obviously isn't right with the guy. Pity as I thought he was going to be a really big player for us this season.

If it is our Diakite, looks like Mali scored their winning goal a few minutes after he came on as a sub yesterday.

Our midfield always looks stronger when he plays, trouble is once he is booked can you afford to risk keeping him on the pitch

I think hes gone, probably as a part of the Mvila deal if we get him, something is not right in his head, maybe he is homesick.

Hes a good player but is a liability as hes a walking red card.

Love Diakite but agree the boy doesn't want to be here ... I only seen him once after the matches and he was sprinting up the road by the players car park
He is not settled i think

Technically poor, always carded, very clumsy, often goes on long runs with no end product and has to track back in to a position he should already be in. Over hyped by many on here. I'd rather play against him than with him, thats for sure.

I agree with both John Byrne and you London! One day he is great, others very iffy - unfortunately more of the latter recently.
