I think he was always on borrowed time and was never Romans choice.

Winning the Champions League just bought him some extra time.

Been saying all along he's a rookie with zero experience who'd get found out this year.

We all know how fluky the CL win was and it was insane to give the job to him purely because of that.

    Ahahahahahahahahah!

What'd be funnier is if Rafa does a good job then they ship him out and bring in Guardiola at the end of the season, who then sinks like a stone.

No credible manager would go to Chelsea. They won't get mega bucks to spend any more, managers don't get time, they'll have to put up with owner interference, JT and Fatty need replacing.....

But they'll get a nice paycheck and compensation when the inevitable sacking arrives.

If I were a Chelsea fan i'd be bombarding the owner with calls to get Redknapp in rather than Benitez.

Benitez is a hopeless **** who will take his money then happily pocket his pay off when he is inevitably sacked, the **** stain.

At least with Redknapp they'd get someone with proven ability to steady a ship. Not that that is what Abramovic wants though I suppose. Would give Rednapp the ammunition to prove once and for all that he does in fact have the ability to take that final step up.

Roman will go for Benitez though, because he's a twat so they are made for each other.

exactly what it was in my mind now .. and I think Redknapp will jump on it too even in temporary bases trying to prove his worth
if he picked Rafa .. well it is good and bad news
good bcz Rafa is an average manager
Bad.. bcz i hate this idiot like many UTD fans do

So being the clubs most successful manager ( Mourniho ) doesnt keep you safe and nor does winning the CL for the first time ( RDM ).

    Worst job in football.

No one should be surprised at yet another sacking at Chelsea.

What a joke of a owner they have.

Can't wait for the Benitez press conferences!

Does he play us or Liverpool first? Must be Liverpool I guess... I reckon the crowd are going to boo him like crazy at the start of his first match, although it'll probably be aimed at Roman mainly...
