It's back to Fortress Fratton after 3 away defeats in a week, with 9 goals conceded! What are your attendance and score predictions?
Fortress Fratton ? God, I hope so.... 2-2 draw (can't see our defence suddenly improving ), in front of a crowd of 14,622.
Was it Brighton, I think that was 1958 and their first time in div 2? 2-2 for me too. 15000 or thereabouts.
3-1 to Scunthorpe. Portsmouth to take the lead, Scunthorpe score 3 before half time then spend the entire second half taking the piss, ending up with something like 74% possession.
Brian Laws sacked, Pompey sign young Potts from the hammers. On the back of some quite obismal displays I am really hoping Gw and his staff can rally round these players and make a mends! I will be there on sat regardless, but really hoping for a win. 2-1 pompey, 15,768 if its not raining to hard!

Is this just not going to be our day - we hit the bar, we hit the post and then they go and take the lead
It is. Very disappointing. Trouble is knowing whether Guy will make it given time. It may just be that some (not all) the players are just not good enough. It wouldn't surprise me to see Guy decide to step down.
today's game was poor, we played rubbish for the full 90! I really take issue with the report in the news from GW saying "we deserved more from the game, at least a point" " our defence cost us" The man is deluded...........he must have been watching a different game from the rest of us in attendance today! Again, I am not a GW hater like some, but our team today again were not just lacking in defence, but created little to nothing up front. Barchram was arguably our best front runner but his crossing never found a pompey shirt, the ball either went too far in front of a forward or too over the top........sometimes you want a winger to jst get to the buy line and send one across goal at knee height.......with every one running in on goal anything could happen nd its hard to defend.....but Barchram time and time again when all the hard work was done just sent in a nothing ball! Holmes cannot cross for toffee = find another free kick/ corner taker Craddock, although got our goal missed two sitters one on one with the keeper and has real attitude issues! Ertl.........supposed to be our captain, we loose the second goal and he should be rallying his troops, getting them stuck in, rolling their sleeves up etc......but no, they all stand round looking at each other, waiting for some one to take command, but no one, captain included, comes forward. Two players stood out for me, Carson, who made some great saves, world class arguably, but made a howler drop for the scunny second and young Potts, come in on loan late this week for left back and I have to say considering he does not know the club or the payers was out standing and rightly took MOTM. We have dropped more points at home, in a league thats tighter than a ducks t**t.......I am now worried for our future! I would not be surprised if there is not an emergency meeting happening right now to discuss GW's tenure at our club, a lovely bloke, but really now clueless! When the final whistle went today, the frustrations of the last 2 weeks came out......some players just ran for the tunnel, some stood centre circle not knowing what to do, some applauded the fratton end.......GW walked the pitch to a chorus boo's, you have to feel sorry for the man, but for me, its now time to call time!
