Just got back from Birmingham to see we've won, that's good. Have no idea what happened in the world of football.

What's that, 3 wins out of 4 now in all competitions?

In his post match interview, Guy said that Trevor Carson would return in goal for the game against Wycombe on Tuesday.

"Whittingham revealed that Trevor Carson – who was not allowed to feature against his parent club – will return for Tuesday’s match against Wycombe. He said: “Phil made one really good save, but although there was a lot of pressure, he didn’t have too much to do after that. It was a steady performance, but everyone knows that Carson will be back in for the next game."

    So that's that sorted then.

Credit where it's due- Phil Smith had an excellent game today. He kept out a diving header from Shaun Harrad when he had no right to, so in hindsight that save allowed us to keep the three points today. Well done to him today and the rest of the defense (this defense seems to be Guy's first choice) <ok>

I thought Phil Smith played well today, with (as Stewie said) one superb save - perhaps Trevor Carson has been coaching him, and not the other way round !

John Sullivan looked superb as well (sitting on the bench <laugh>)

Yet another lovely headed goal from Basildon Bondz, very well directed into the corner of the net.
