At the end of day when Ipswich last got promoted we finished 5th.Marcus Stewart scored a lot more than Holt and a European spot was secured.

Come the 25th anniversary of this achievement I doubt there will be any mass histeria in Ipswich.

I guarantee that in the 2037 there will be an open bus topped celebration up the road, and there will be a Grant Holt stand at Carrow Road.

    It's all about class.

In fairness, I agree with this to an extent - for instance the fact Wes Hoolahan is in our Hall of Fame after some good Championship/League One seasons is embarrassing for me. But times have changed, and a team can't simply break into the big league these days, so for Norwich to be where they are now IS an extraordinary achievement. I think some people forget just what Lambert has done.

    Let's be honest here........

The Premier League has been very mediocre this term.A sub standard Manchester United team will win it and a very poor Wolves will go down.

Arsenal and Spurs have provided rare pieces of quality in a very forgetable season.

Absolutely nay danger of a dazzlingly thick poster like Carra ever picking up on an allusion, Cider. Subtle or otherwise.

You might as well proffer the simplest of speculations to a goldfish. All you’ll get is the same incoherent gulping.

I'm still trying to work out how talking about something that happened in 2004 is alluding to the future!

Careful, Dave, you'll be accused of thread hijacking;), even though it was an 1p5wich fan who hijacked this one.

    Of course you are Dave.

Cider will sort you out. It was his post after all.

Cider: Dave will forever flounder unless you spell it out in sub-Janet and John terms. Real pre-primary school stuff needed here.

Leaving him in eternal turmoil might be harsh. Then again he is one of our resident Norwich trolls who demands (rightly in my opinion) a degree of respect of visiting fans on his own board, but nevertheless shows none on here. Despite supporting a joke of a club that’s an embarrassment to English football.

I’ll leave it up to you.

To be honest with you Jonah I haven't got the time.

I'm off out tonight and my teeth need a good flossing.

    Probably for the best.

It’s like some science guys have been a tad remiss with their blowfly cloning on a Friday afternoon. They come back to the lab on Monday with shocking hangovers only to discover they’ve bred a bunch of Norwich fans.

Up early ciderz? Did Jonah kick you out or did you wet the bed?

As for the pork issue, that is no way to talk about a vital piece of jonah's anatomy.
