    I'm happy with it if its true <ok> still think its a bit mad we will be paying more for him than we would have for Siggy tho who has 7 years advantage age wise but we desperately need more goals and he knows where the onion bag is (sorry Bluff).

    I would'nt get over excited about Dempsey but he would give us something different, he's always there in the box at the right time and he's a hard guy to pick up because he moves around a lot. I would say we would be getting an experienced prem player that has goals in him and £5mil is not going to kill us if thats the price.

    I think the stats actually show a very different story to the one portrayed by one season of 20+ goals. take a look at my thread and comment about the man in the street test, i put up dempsey's record.

    I do have to say that if we've got adam and he stopped hitting quality frees and couldn't take a pen to save himself then will the same not happen to dempsey.. half his goals will vanish over night cos gerrard will boss frees and pens.

    Oi Billy lad<ok> Don't disrespect my sauce.

    Have had time to get used to the idea of Carroll going. Emotion aside, with Suarez, Borini and Dempsey we will be a lot more mobile and there should be more goals. Andy's biggest strength is his aerial ability, so if Rodgers does not want to go down that route, it is understandable.

    I really wish Andy all the best where ever he goes. (long as it's not United)

    Yeh I've seen it already, journalists on Twitter were saying it had been removed that's all.

    Fulham have however definitely said it's bullshit.

    They can say that as much as they want. But if Dempsey wants out and there is a bid for an unhappy player on the final year of his contract, can't see it not happening. Prob just holding out for as much $£$£$£ as they can get.

    The main reason people are getting uptight about it is because we paid £35m for him. That is in the past and needs putting out of sight, let Rodgers make decisions based on his own mind and not other peoples mistakes <ok>
