Bring him home!!. would fit in to our midfield nicely. can tackle, pass and shoot and is quick. act quickly leeds!

Update- Lorimer has said at an on the road event that a deal to sign Delph on loan should be concluded next week

NO. Never go back. Who's place would he take anyway? I surely can't be the only one who would find it humiliating to loan back one of our youth products from Aston Villa?

Why humiliating? he wanted a chance at the prem which is fair enough. he hasnt quite cut it and needs to go out on loan to get more experience. he could have anyones place in the CM for me, quality player

So we chuck, say, Adam Clayton out of a place for a player who thought he was to good for us and is coming back because he can't get a game? No thanks. I'm not even that bothered about a CM anyway, CB and RB needed first.

Too attacking for me. The only CM I'd bring in is competition for Clayton. Put Brown or Pugh, maybe even Thompson in beside Clayton and that still looks Class. <ok>

I only wish Brown was a few years younger so he could play every game.

Each to their own, but i think delph has been used as a holding midfielder at villa so with him staying slightly deeper, i dont think thats too attacking

I would have took him back if we had needed that position but with O'Dea, Townsend and the talk of the RB smith on loan I don't see as we need another loanee in.

Exactly what we need in midfield, if only Woodgate was available as well!

Boab, you have to face your past before you can face the future! Delph left for Premiership football, Woodgate was sold for cash. Another example is Alan Smith who proved he is a decent midfield general in this league with Newcastle but most fans would rather watch Pugh play in the middle than see him in a Leeds shirt?

Sometimes you need to use old players, look at scumchester they have turned to Scholes, Arsenal have gone back to Henry & even we enjoyed watching Batty return.

Let's lose the chip of our shoulder because it's keeping us down! If they are good enough then support them!

Hang on a minute, Pugh is a former player and no-one complained about him returning, so why is it different for Delph?
Many players have left us, only to return later in their careers, Batty as already mentioned, & before him John Lukic.
Delph would be a quality addition.

As I recall, we were happy to take the Villa shilling for Delph. We won a watch!! I think a lot of you are forgetting that he was playing in L1, and had long periods of being absolutely average. He's done nothing of any particular note since he left us too. He MIGHT be good for us, but then again, he might not. I think our money could be better spent elsewhere, with a better return - kick-ass CB, for instance?

delph more than held his own in the prem. its unfortunate for him that stephen ireland has returned to form and now he is out of favour. delph is far better than pugh, brown, varynen and is probably better than clayton. we would be mad not to enquire about him imo

I disagree he is better than clayton and he is not better than howson. And we also need some experience in the centre as well (brown or vayrynen). So i really dont think he is worth enquiring about

I have to agree with you. Maybe it's a case of cutting my nose off to spite my face, but I personally wouldn't want him back. Good player as he is. He wanted to move but like a lot of ex players found that it's not as green on the other side as he thought.

I'm hearing more and more rumours that he is actually coming back to Leeds.
