Not true, it's just you don't hear about female celebrities croaking from it. Former FBI profiler Roy Hazlewood did a study in the early 80's into autoerotic asphyxiation and a surprising number of women in their 30's die from it, although often it'll get covered up as "accidental death" or "suicide" in the coroners report.

I've read all his books and he talks quite a lot about it. **** trying it, as its massively risky.

I've read "Dark Dreams" and "The Evil That Men Do" by him. He talks quite a bit about chokey ****s in it as he did a case study into it. Plus there is a chapter on it in "Bad Men Do What Good Men Dream" by Dr Robert Simon.

I've got all the books by the main guys who set up the BSU Profiling Unit at the FBI. Roy Hazelwood, John Douglas and Robert Ressler. Fascinating stuff, far better than the ****e, gory, sensationalist pish in most serial killer books.

I get through about 150-200 books a year though. I'll pretty much read anything apart from ****ty commercial trash like Dan Brown etc. I've only been on here a week and I've read 4 books, TV bores me when am not stoned.

That's still better than my best mate Nev. He's only ever read one book by his own choice and it was "Marching Powder: A True Story of Friendship, Cocaine, and South America's Strangest Jail" which is a ****ing brilliant book to be fair. About an English dude in La Paz prison in Bolivia.

Think I might get that Catch Me If You Can book, the film is magic and my cousin was telling me at Christmas the book is good. Going to look and see if it's available for the Kindle.

Most guys offshore read books because it's the only thing you're allowed to do during the chopper ride....apart from sleep.

Marching Powder is ****-hot Nev, it makes me want to go on holiday to La Paz, apparently the charlie is the best in the world there. They make it in the prison and sell it in the prison yard to European and American tourists for about $5 a wrap or you can buy pure coke base and smoke it there. They've even got places you can buy food and beer in the prison and they let some prisoners take tourists out into town for the day to show them the "real" La Paz. ****ing nuts.

I'll read anything but I do like a good real-life tale of murder, sexual abuse and drug smuggling.

  14. ma brother's been to la paz. sez the coke is unreal. a knew an irish **** in Oz who's mate had just stayed in la paz instead of going the rest of the round the world trip with him purely because of the coke <laugh>
