Interesting reading, if take in to account who we have played. And stats like that mean nothin just like Arsenals 24 shots and Stokes 16 corners. The goals scored and conceded count so we're doing brilliantly atm

Some are misleading, but I think, conceding 19 crosses from the left, as opposed to 43 from the right, is quite the telling stat <yikes>

9 out of 10 cats preferrrrrrr it. Goals, points & clean sheets are the only stats I need to know.

Everton spent most of their time attacking De Laet. The top sides like Chelsea and Arsenal vary their attacks so I don't quite understand quite how these stats come about

5 points on the board is the only stat im interested in and a pretty good goal difference considering the sides we have had to face so far

Well the stat about conceding shots from outside the box and the next team conceding nearly half as many is hardly fair, as Hull have played 25% less football than us (at time of writing).

Besides, opponents shooting from distance is a good sign; it's what teams do when they are frustrated. Add to that the level of opposition, and the fact we are tenth, and it equals a whole load of "who cares?"

EDIT: Does crosses from the left mean that they are actually targetting De Laet rather than Konchesky? Is it crosses from our left or the opponents left?! Because as Proud said, Everton pretty much only attacked now our right flank.

I think it was written before the Stoke game, when everyone had played 3.

Anyways, I thought it was interesting, don't shoot the messenger <yikes>

And, when it says from the right, I think it means our left... I.e. Konchesky.

That surely means we've conceded fewer (19) down our left so means Konchesky is doing well

Oh OK, so it was before we won a game.

By the way, Hull conceded a lot of crosses tonight, so I wonder how things have changed?

    What was the source Jack?

Yes, and admittedly it was after we had played Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal... So shots against were expected!

Saying that, Stoke added to that figure considerably too!

It was on some fantasy football website, where they analysed the stats for the newly promoted teams.

I don't have an agenda, and I'm not saying anything in particular, I just read the article and thought I'd post it on here.

Are teams targeting Konchesky? Have we been told to let the oppo have as many shots as they like? We must be getting a fair few blocks in.

Or have we set ourselves up particularly well, and forced our opposition to shoot from distance often? Whatever it may be, it seems to be working at the moment...

Nigel Pearson has proven himself during his whole time here (1st go and 2nd) that he is a top manager
